The short version
Khef is open source software, released under the Apache License 2.0. The license file in the GitHub repository governs your use of the software. This site is informational. No warranty — software is provided as is.
1. Who we are
Khef Labs can be reached at support@khef.ai.
2. The software
Khef is published as source code under the Apache License 2.0. Your rights and obligations regarding the software are governed by that license, included in the repository.
3. This site
khef.ai is an informational site. We host static pages and link out to GitHub. We don't run an account system, don't process payments, and don't collect personal data through the site.
4. No warranty
Khef and this site are provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Khef Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Khef or this site.
5. Third-party services
Khef integrates with third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) when you wire them up with your own API keys. Their terms govern those interactions.
6. Trademarks
“Khef” and the Khef logo are trademarks of Khef Labs. The Apache 2.0 license grants you the right to use the software, not the brand. Don't ship forks that misrepresent themselves as the official Khef.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top is updated for any change.
